Hi! I am working on the next part of my murky tale. I had to go through pictures and edit them and now I am writing up my text. I've been busy with family the past few days so didn't get to do much. I have also been building some murkland friendly lots for Willow Creek to place fellow Murklanders in. But, I should have the first part of the gym challenge out this week.
Been working on our house, trying to get it ready to sell. Doing a remodel of a bedroom for my daughter. The old carpet is out and most of the old trim. Would be going faster if we didn't have sickness in the family too. I have been playing some of the second Murkland Challenge. I have a story line I'm trying to work with and will try and start writing it next month.
Slow with my updates this week. I had headaches off and on the past few days and today's was almost debilitating. I did get some written on the next part Wednesday and will try and get some more done in the morning if I am feeling better.
Hopping in here quickly to say I will have one more chapter to my currant murkland story about Pally sim. I am on a little mini vacation. Should be able to post it on Thursday the 1st. Thanks again for following my story. <3
*edit fixed wrong word use...oh boy that made me laugh. That's what I get for breaking the internet rule on vacation.
Wanted to thank you all for following my sims story. I hope you found it entertaining. I am waiting for challenge 3 to be released before I continue Pally sim's adventure. I have no idea what she will be required to do in the next part except for running the Puffer Dome.
I do have an idea for another story about a sim doing the other side of challenge 2, Paying the bills this time. He will get to move to the Vardo and he can get married. I am going to connect the two stories and then have them both be in the one for challenge 3 so we can figure out what those Watchers are really up too.
I may not have it ready to share until the end of the month or possible the beginning of March. This month is going to get busier for me.
Thank you all again for taking from your time to share mine. Pally
I've been feeling really anti social and depressed for the past few days. I keep trying to snap myself out of it but I've been overwhelmed with family things too so I keep putting myself on the side. Hope to get things sorted and get back into the swing of things soon.
I keep trying to stay positive since my last update to this thread. I have to try and focus on good things and well some days it's a struggle. But I have been mostly happy all last week, Last Sunday was rough, but the week got better. But enough of that.
I am nearly done with Kian's story. I have 3 parts to write. Then I may make a little follow up story of sorts. I had an idea for another non-murky story that I wanted to work on. And I need to do a bunch of spring cleaning and painting in my own house.
AS always, thanks for taking from your time to follow mine.
I am considering doing a little backstory for my version of Murkland. A lot of us who play this challenge sort of have our own reasons as to why the apocalypse happened and what kind and when. That's the fun creative part about it. We get to make it our own as long as we follow the general rules. Of course Brenna, has said we could play it completely sandbox style and make up our own thing all together, but I like trying to fit my story around the rules.
There are clues left all around Murkland as to how and why the apocalypse happened. We just have to look. I have based my backstory off of those clues, for the most part.
I am working on the next update. I have had a stressful last week, as some of you know. I also have to deal with my son, who is 3, and has screaming fits which can really suck a persons creative and happy spirit away in a flash. I have 15 pictures to caption. This one has 30 something so I am a little over half way done. Thanks again for following my stories.
I have had so much going on the last week and I am not sure I will get around to working on the next part of my Murky Backstory. Thanks to those of you who follow and take the time to read my stuff. It means more than you know.
